Headlinitis
I've read too many classics over the last couple of days not to offer a select few for your consideration:
The not very reassuring award: "Water safe to drink despite uranium"
The ironic sports team behaviour award: "Sharks turn on each other after win"
The "well d'uh" award: "Bush's brain steps down" (and the variants that were fairly ubiquitous yesterday).
That last one barely merits any comment whatsoever, it's hilarity being so self-evident.
