NRL Round 12
Alrighty, Round 11 preoduced my biggest win of the season to day - $206 collect with the Dragons 13+ and the Titans and Manly being drawn at half time.
At the start of the seasonI thought I would increase returns by taking the team I backed to be ahead at both half and full time.
The number of matches which are drawn at half time is simply incredible and at $8.50 for that option i've decided to increasingly take that option when two teams of a roughly equal calibre are playing.
Round 12 Tip 1:
Dragons/Eels/Tigers/Bulldogs/Raiders
$10 = $250

Raiders +6.5

In the Dompost there’s a weekly tipping comp in the Friday Sport Throwaway section.
The normal suspects. Their league reporter, mad butcher, Warriors player etc..
But it’s being led by someone called “Helen Clark, league fan”. She’s killing it.

I've tipped the Dragons (though am getting cold feet about that as they have lost players to origin and I don't think they are going to amount to anything when the pressure comes on), the Eels, the Warriors (the Warriors will do something soon, either implode completely and lose by 40 or scrape a win), the Bulldogs and the Rabbitohs.
This is one of those rounds where you could get lucky and pick 4 or 5 or else go the otherway. Sort of a silly season with rep football on. Once rep football finishes the games tend to get easier to pick as the top sides get their stars back and start rolling over the teams with less to play for.
