RESPECT
Comments:
I was saying to Bennyasena two days ago that after 9 years at the top, it would be really hard to go back to Opposition, and you'd constantly be looking over your shoulder as your colleagues wondered whether to roll you or not. So I'm pleasantly surprised she decided to step down straight away: it secures her legacy and ensures it won't end when some challenger can muster 23 other Labour MPs to install himself as leader. Bring on Phil Goff anyway, he'll keep the bastards honest.
Although a straight majority for National-ACT will make them hard to keep honest, especially as they're not inclined to have an honest bone in their bodies.
